I enjoy capturing light with the Leica M Rangefinders and manual focus lenses because I feel in complete control. The focal lengths I enjoy most are 28mm and 35mm. Of all the lenses I have been fortunate to use, the Elmarit 28mm is my all-time favorite. In addition to the Leica lenses, I enjoy the products Voigtlander and Carl Zeiss produce. I don't believe its accurate or fair to compare those brands to Leica. The price between the brands is substantial and the debate of what is worth what will go on for a long time. I believe those three brands produce their own unique qualities and renderings. Because of that, my kit probably seems pretty large.
Below is the list of the primary camera equipment I use. I have been known to occasionally use a Canon 5DSR, Sony A7Rii or Fujifilm XT-3 to experiment or change the pace.
